Swimwear season has arrived and all of the fashion-forward magazines are getting us even more excited for the newest swimsuit styles and trends. This season the popular topic seems to be how to choose the perfect swimsuit for your body type, and we all know real women have curves! We were delighted to see InStyle Magazine mention three of our designer swimsuits in their May editorial: Shop It! Swimwear. They gave flattering recommendations in ‘tropical punch,’ ‘peppy pastel’ and ‘red, white & NEW’ color categories, touching on spring and summer with our vibrant swimwear.

L*Space’s Monaco Citrus Bikini is a delicious lime greenshade and a great way to keep up with the neon trend. It also has the unique detail of the gold hardware detailing with matching bright color, so if you’re not big on wearing jewelry to the beach this element stops you from losing that fancy feeling…phew! InStyle recognized it as a swimsuit with that ‘tropical punch,’ something everyone looks for when they are having some fun in the sun! This particular bikini flatters all bust sizes as it’s crafted with a triangle top and gives you the option of removable padding. The seamless bottom provides moderate coverage which is perfect for those active beach days. Don’t forget your Frisbee!

InStyle’s next designer pick is Agatha Ruiz De La Prada’s Summer Romance One Piece. Who doesn’t love a summer romance, right?! This ‘preppy pastel’ swimsuit gives you just the right amount of cleavage while distracting away from the tummy area. Christmas came early, we know. The contrasting hot-pink string detail just keeps the party going. We are all about that special pop in a one piece swimsuit. The fun-loving pattern continues throughout the suit, ending with a moderate coverage bottom. Take this summer romance inspired one piece to a pool party or a fabulous boat day. Don’t let the fun stop with the swimsuit!

Our final featured swimsuit is a one piece style that was brilliantly recognized by InStyle as the ‘Best for Hiding Your Tummy.’ Seafolly’s La Vita One Piece gives a nod to the Old Hollywood 50s trend, giving you that classy feeling. Pair it with lady-like red lips to get the full Old Hollywood effect! The rouching detail along the torso does what InStyle promised: hides that tummy! No need to suck it in all day, just have a good time. The boy shorts hug your legs in a flattering way while providing full coverage in the rear. Don’t forget this ‘red, white & NEW’ swimsuit on your Fourth of July getaway.  ‘Tis the season to be patriotic!

Instyle’s swimsuit editorial also brought to surface a new ‘desert shade’ trend that has some deep hues of yellow, red and gold. The timeless black swimsuit style, as well as some sporty bikini looks, were also featured.
