We hope everyone is ready for the next big 2014 collection, Trina Turk Swimwear. These fun floral prints are saturated with color and we are psyched to bring them to your doorstep. A genuine California local, Trina Turk is informed as much by her upbringing as a collector’s appreciation for the modernist artistry and craftsmanship born in the Golden State. She has championed the effortless élan and sunny optimism of the native mindset through world-wise women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

Trina Turk is both inspired by and represents the lifestyle of California: optimistic, progressive, accessible, effortless, colorful, and confident. Her ready-to-wear, accessory, and home collections are influenced by her love of 1960s and ’70s vintage apparel and jewelry as well as modernist and graphic art, and mid-century modern architecture. Turk is widely known for her use of dynamic colors and signature prints, including bright floral, bold graphics and vintage inspired jacquards (word of the day meaning a fabric with an elaborately woven pattern produced on a Jacquard loom).

We’ve chosen our favorites from her 2014 collection. Check ’em out!

Zanzibar Twist Bandeau

Bandeau’s are one of the hottest trends right now in women’s swimwear and this bathing suit shows exactly why. This two piece features a multi-color print with playful designs and patterns. The bandeau top provides padding for added support and ties at the back.  It also comes with a removable neck strap. The bottom features shirring detail at hips and provides full coverage.

Zanzibar Wide Leg Pant

We love resort wear, especially when it combines comfort and class. These wide leg pants are the perfect combination of the two. The multi-color print is fun and fresh and is certain to turn heads at any beach outing. The pants are semi sheer and feature side pockets and an adjustable tie at the waist with belt loops. They fall to about ankle length which is perfect for that flowy feel.

Venice Beach One Piece

This one piece swimsuit is perfect for the fashionable woman who craves chic style. The halter style top provides extra padding for support, and ties at the back, which features a unique criss-cross detail. Trina Turk suits run true to size. If you are in between sizes we recommend going one size up for best fit.

Jungle Seychelles Tankini

What do you get when you cross a tankini with a bandeau style top? A bandini! We love this swimsuit simply because it has the fun design work and the electricity of an unique color palette, plus it reminds us of Greece. The top features a removable strap, so the versatility is on point. The bottom provides full coverage and looks seemingly effortless. We’re sure you can understand why this is one of our top picks.
