One of the best parts about being a part of The Orchid Boutique team is getting the opportunity to work with not only the best women’s swimwear in town, but also having the chance to spread the Orchid love to people around the world! This means that we often get to collaborate with some really incredible ladies that share our passion for fashion (and love bikinis as much as we do!)! One such fashionista is the fabulous Mónica Sors, fashion blogger and founder of Mes Voyages à Paris, from Barcelona who exudes fashion and unique European style. Her style cred has made her a big name in the fashion blogosphere, so it’s not surprising that Mónica has been able to partner with some of the fashion world’s most renowned brands, including but not limited to Elle Spain, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, and the list continues! She is even a contributor for Lucky Magazine, so you know that Monica is always “in the know” of the latest trends on the runways and the streets of Europe.
Given this, it’s not surprising that Mónica’s amazing sense of personal style extends from her clothing to her swimwear selections. Therefore, you can only imagine our excitement when we were given the opportunity to work on an exclusive project with Mes Voyages à Paris!
With the season’s Mix and Match trend, it’s no surprise that Mónica loves to do the same with her swimsuits! Keeping this in mind, Monica selected her favorite look from our Styling Section, the Mint Cutie, which features the Hunter Sea Bandeau top from L*Space and the Floral Balcony bottom from Maaji.
She also picked up one of our sun hats from our exclusive resort wear section. With this mix and match look, Mónica is definitely set for a fun day at the beach!
One of the best reasons why to buy from either brand is that they are not only sold as separates, but many of their pieces are also reversible! So basically, you get two fun looks in one bikini; score!
It was an amazing experience getting the chance to work with Mónica, and we loved to see her incorporate her personal style into her swimwear collection (as all you ladies should do!). We hope to work on more features with Mes Voyages à Paris soon, and who knows what trends she will feature next with the upcoming 2014 swimwear season!
