Miami Swim Week 2012 is still in full swing and we’re continuing to bring you exclusive pictures of designer swimwear 2012 from the front row. The swimsuits have been stunning and unique with obvious trends being showcased from each designer.
A collection we viewed this past week was Poko Pano, a family owned Brazilian bran, established in 1990 and designed by Paolo Robba. Poko Pano hit mainstream in 2002 when it showed at renowned Sao Paolo Fashion Week where swimwear enthusiasts and fashion editors fell in love with the Brazilian company and their distinct aesthetic. The company stays true to Brazilian swimwear, with Brazilian cut bikinis and interesting prints and colors.
Poko Pano’s 2012 collection featured an earthy trend with leaves, fruit, and eco designs highlighted as prints on the swimsuits. There were a variety of cuts and silhouettes that were displayed on two pieces, one pieces and cover-ups. While the beginning of the show started off with a “green” feel, it ended with beautiful colors and prints. Here are some looks from the show that took place at the Oasis:
