Solid Two-Pieces: Timeless and Classy

In a world of evergreen florals and all-timer stripes filling up the shops and boutiques; solid prints are the refreshing balm that unifies styles and joins with versatility every imaginable outfit. Simply put, we love solids in all its variations!  And of course we love two-piece bikinis so this blog is meant to show you our latest crushes from our top-notch designers.

If you haven’t checked yet, the 2020 swimwear collections by Touché, Agua Bendita, Boamar, Maylana, and Malai are on fire. And even though the influence of a fresh tropical vibe has been notorious, solid prints and reversible styles are also an important factor in this fashion equation. Without forgetting the classic black two pieces, the minimalist style of matte prints gets renewed with ribbed textures, multilayered fabric, and touches of spark.  Here some of our dearest combos:

Dreamy Rosé High Cut

The solid tones and color blocks are essential in the latest collections by Touché. Some of their prints, like the Morganite showed below, are manufactured in multilayered fabric. This is what makes the colors so vibrant, and also provides a certain rigidity that keeps those girly ruffles in shape. On top of that, it’s hard to resist the delicate charm of a skirted pink bottom. In or out the water, Morganite Bandeau Top and High Cut Bottom are a winning combination of cuteness and style.

Pin Up Goes Neon

Yes we said it, and sounded great! The second combo in our compilation is from Maylana Swimwear. This one has a more conservative touch contrasting with a dazzling yellow tone that will catch all the eyes.  The Golden Ribbed print displays soft textured details and, for most Maylana’s bikinis, is reversible to solid mustard; one of those is the Marly Bottom. It features a high waist structure and a sexy high cut that pairs perfectly with the bralette style of Leah Top. If you’re looking for a retro outfit, but polka dots can’t totally convince you, feel free to try on this comfortable two-piece.

Solidly Glamorous

Another high cut bottom joins our list, and we love it. This resort-worthy bikini by Agua Bendita Swimwear is a splendid choice for the ones who really want to make a statement. The balloon sleeves and squared neck design of the Gypsy Calista Top look amazing in the silk textured fabric of this classy bralette.  On its part, Isabella Bottom snazzes up the vintage style in a flattering high waist with a decorative belt. It is easy to picture this outfit with a stylish white pareo and a nice pair of greek sandals.

Once You Go Black...

Of course, a black two-piece couldn’t be missing! The last combination is for the classic lovers, those who enjoy a gorgeous solid bikini as it is. Mole Banded Triangle Top and Bottom by Ondademar make a safe match that fits almost every body shape. The racerback design and thick underbust band provide excellent support. Additionally, the hipster bottom features comfortable materials and a sporty cheeky coverage ideal for any kind of activity at the beach. We now that once you go black bikinis, it’s hard to go back; so if you don’t want to, there’s no need to experiment with forms and textures to be fashionable.  However, if you’re feeling curious already, you can pair a classic top or bottom with an edgier one, there are countless possibilities!

Even though you are a rigorous minimalist or just want to look Hepburn classy, a monochromatic print is a fine choice to fulfill your outfit goals. As for us, we’ll stay head over heels about these timeless prints, trusting this relationship will keep growing solid.
