It’s that time again, everyone! Sports Illustrated Swimsuit unveiled it’s 50th Anniversary issue, and we could not be more thrilled with what they have in store. Besides the beautiful Brazilian bikinis and more fresh faced rookies than ever, we have seen the styles and trends that will be rocked up and down the beaches this summer.
Brazilian Bikini Bottoms
This has always been one of our favorite trends as well as one of the most popular. Brazilian bikini bottoms are cut just beyond thong and just before moderate with the right amount of edge and class. This year in the SI issue, the girls flaunt Brazilian cut bottoms flawlessly showing us why spending so much time in the gym will get your the right results for summer.
Tori Praver Electric Peacock Bikini
This signature high waisted cut has been a fan favorite for the past few months, and now that it can be seen on supermodel Marloes Horst, it is sure to take off even more so. The black underwire style top provides a sleek ruffle detail and comes with removable straps. The high waisted bottom features a chic design along with a triangle cut-out detail in the back. Tori Praver designs are for the ultimate beach-goer that does more than lay on the sand. Tori Praver Swimwear has been spotted on the beach bodies of Hollywood favorites like Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, LeAnn Rimes, and Marisa Miller, so it is no wonder this would be an excellent add to SI’s 50th Anniversary Issue.
But besides supermodels Teigen, Aldridge, and Agdal, what else should you be super stoked to see in this year’s issue? The easy answer is swimwear pieces by The Orchid Boutique! That’s right folks, in this year’s issue, The Orchid Boutique has three heavy hitters in the bikini category. That’s right, we said THREE! Check out the upcoming Maaji swimsuit you’ll see in the most powerful issue of Sports Illustrated to date.
Maaji Diamond Gypsy
A recent addition to our 2014 Maaji Swimwear collection, this trendy two-piece is sure to skyrocket into popularity. The banded triangle style top features pleated details as well as soft, built in cups. The seamless hipster style bottom provides moderate coverage at the rear and guess what….it’s also full reversible! Maaji is such a huge part of every swimwear season, there is no reason why Sports Illustrated wouldn’t have chosen a piece from their best collection yet.
Hellloooooooo triangle tops. We’ve always been fans, but this year Sports Illustrated too the trend beyond just love, but toward obsession. But we’re not complaining, because these girls look FIERCE. The triangle top is probably one of the sexier swimwear tops, as it leaves little to the imagination, except for a trail of string. Check out our favorite Kardashian-Jenner family member show us why triangle tops are the new fad.
Agua Bendita Bendito Trendy Bikini
Four words – multi-color animal print. Oh, and Kendall Jenner. With that ultimate combo of power, we know why this Agua Bendita Swimwear two piece was chosen for the mag. There is slight piping details and ruffles along the trim of the top and bottom of this suit, as well as Brazilian cut coverage on the bottom. The top features a triangle top which ties at the neck and back . This bikini has been a hit since we started carrying it and now seeing Jessica Gomes rock the look on the beaches of Madagascar, we’re about to launch a Who Wore it Better!
So far this issue has some very obvious trends, the first being neon! We can see many different swimsuits with the neon colors brightly contrasting the blue of the water, and let me tell you it looks fab. It’s hard NOT to stare when you have such vivid hues decorating the beaches and those golden bodies. Check out our favorite cover girls rocking the new trend:
