Summer means many different things for different people. For some, it involves that welcomed break from long semesters at school, for others is means taking that tropical vacation you’ve planned since the coldest winter days. For us, it is officially the season to showcase your sexy swimwear whether on the beach of in your own backyard. In multiple places across the U.S., some states only get a small window of time to wear their swimwear, so it’s important to capitalize on those months NOW.  So….

Step One: Ask yourself, “where can I find sexy swimwear?”

Step Two: Answer yourself: “Ah, yes, Orchid Boutique.”

Step Three: Acquire beautiful swimsuits.

Step Four: Find the clearest waters in the world to vacation to.

Step Five: Hop on plane.

Step Six: Bask in sunshine in your sexy swimwear.

Okay, maybe it is much easier said then done. So if you’re like us, working hard for the money in the office, we’ll give you a welcomed break from your cubicle and bring you some of the clearest waters in the world. Feel free to plan your next vacation immediately following reading this blog post.

Before you….dive in….FUN FACT: Did you know why humans are drawn to the ocean, or to clear water? It’s pretty simple, actually. No, it’s not to show off their sexy swimwear. Our species is designed to benefit from the water, so it becomes genetically advantageous for people to be attracted to water.

Alright, we can continue now.

The Maldives

The Maldives, or the Maldive Islands, are an island nation in the Indian Ocean. They consist of a double chain of twenty-six atolls. What is an atoll?

  1. a ring-shaped reef, island, or chain of islands formed of coral.

These atolls are spread over 35,000 sq miles, which is a whole lotta space. This spread though, makes the country one of the world’s most geographically dispersed.

The waters are crystal clear and full of reef wildlife which makes it one of the top vacation destinations year in and year out. Bring your underwater camera and snap some sexy swimwear selfies.

Playa Sirena, Cuba

My father, who is from Cuba, always stresses that the best part of his home country are the beaches. He said one of his goals in life is to take his kids there just for the beaches alone. Playa Sirena is said to be one of Cuba’s finest beaches, with powdery white sand, and clear water  that you can see straight to the bottom. Nautical activities really highlight this beach, where you can canoe or kayak across the still waters, surveying the ocean below.

To Sua Ocean Trench – Samoa

Initially when I think of Samoas, I picture the velvety and coveted girl scout cookie that I hoard in my freezer to savor throughout the year. However, I can now attribute the word to the beautiful watering hole that was converted into a large swimming area. A ladder was installed on the side of the hole for visitors to access the hole, which measures 30 meters deep! Imagine jumping off into a pool of turquoise water, plunging into a refreshing aqua abyss. *Sighs*

Cocos Islands, Costa Rica

The Cook Islands

What makes this island so fascinating is the fact that it is uninhabited. Located right off the shore of Costa Rica, this island is well-known for it’s unbelievable scuba diving. Things you can see while under water? Coral reefs, tropical fish, and of course, schools of HAMMERHEAD SHARKS. So this begs the very important question, would you risk swimming with sharks for some of the clearest waters in the world?

Five-Flower Lake, China

Now, just because it isn’t a tropical location, doesn’t mean its waters can’t be crystal clear to the bottom. That’s why this lake in China made the list, because of its shallow, multi-colored water. You can see straight down and observe all of the fallen ancient tree trunks. The best part about this lake, however, is that it is blissfully surrounded by mountain ranges and lush green forest.

Regardless of where you choose to spend your next vacation, make sure to pack your sexy swimwear, lather your sunscreen, and enjoy some of the clearest waters around.
