This year’s SI Swimsuit shoot included the fabulous Bendito Napoleon Monokini by Agua Bendita, in a spicy topless shoot with model Zoe Duchesne. We already told you in a previous post that this monokini can be worn in over 4 ways: halter, v-neck, bandeau, and criss-cross front. Now the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is telling us it’s as hot as we thought it was!  We also told you that the first monokini was designed to be worn topless and were once considered illegal. Are we going retro on the whole topless monokini look?

Bendito Napoloeon in Black

The Bendito Napoleon monokini was especially made in a nude color at the request of the SI editors to perfectly blend with the desertic location and the model’s perfectly golden skin. However, the original design comes in black, as seen on the right. There’s tons of detail in this suit that may not be visible in the spread (and let’s face, who can concentrate on the suit when looking at these shots?) Agua Bendita always exceeds expecatations when it comes to embroidery and hand made details that result in one of a kind pieces.

The Napoleon monokini is convertible, actually becoming a two-piece by detaching the connected torso area. This mid section features special laser cut detail in cutout shapes, and can be easily unbuttoned at the bottom and untied at the neck to detach it. The bottom features the Agua Bendita Swimwear branding along the waistline, and the rear end of the suit is a treat with cinched detail down the middle. This of course, done intentionally to enhance your bum area. This convertible monokini is ideal for those who love to create versatile looks with just one item. You can explore this one piece’s full potential by creating the different silhouettes shown. You can get up to 4 looks with just one swimsuit, talk about recycling!

If you are more on the classic side and are looking for other types of monokinis you will definitely find one. With the rise in popolarity of monokinis, they come in many different cuts, fabrics, and with different sihlouettes that help hide are least favorite areas and emphasixe our assets.
